Crunk Flammable Jello Times

You know I do the good thing and don't under cut B&M shops (being that I work for a shop, it would kinda like me shorting myself buying online/unauthorized)and go to an authorized dealer for premier to order my 880...and guess what.

They order it, and tell me it should be in anyday now. and that was a week ago. So today I figure I will test them out. I call and inquire about my order...again they say its been ordered and they dont know anything about the status. So later on today on my break I call the same shop and pretend to be another customer and ask for an 880...and low and behold this is what I hear...

"oh they are on backorder...we can't even fill the order that we have on them for another customer"

needless to say I will go to the shop tomorrow, and ask them why they didn't inform ME that it was on backorder...I needed this unit 3 days ago, and I returned a unit (display model and was scared that newbz had fawked it up)from Audio/Tint Concepts accross from The audio Edge. In favor of buying a new one.

ignore my ramblings. I worked a 16 hour day today + built/worked on my truck.

I hate going to best buy with no clue of what I am asking for. Those people act like punks because I can get laid and they cannot. They also respond with some sort of smartass answer.
However, if you come with knowing the name of the device and all the relevant info, then they are as cool as a fan.

Been backordered a few weeks now IIRC. Honestly I havent been following, Ive been trying to Not sell them due to some of the failure rate. I don't mind your ramblings. I have long-since decided that the practices commonly used at Wright's are policies I take great issue with. Hence the reason I absolutely refuse to shop there. I'll spend my money elsewhere 8 days a week - B&M shop or not. I certainly do not mind supporting the local folk, don't get me wrong, but the guys at Wright's are pond-dwellers who just happen to sell nice gear.

I know where Audio/Tint Concepts is - just past where "Jesse James" barbershop either is or used to be.

Completely off-topic.....heard a commercial on 99X the other day that Street Creations (yanno - those jokers where Alpine used to work here in town) is carrying RE now?!!??

would be a losing battle...me and alpineinstaller (you sold him rainbow cal 27 IIRC) have worked at that shop off and on for about 2.5 years now. and nothing has changed. If we aren't there every waking out of the day he would have masses of Audiobahn old stock, low end sony, Power Acoustik, and other less than stelllar brands.

We carry a lot of brands, he is just to cheap to keep anything in stock.

Though it is funny when the customers want to "hear" what kind of work we do, and they get to sit in my truck or blake(alpineinstaller)'s car...and then they wonder why their JVC door speakers and kicker comps dont sound quite as good...and then the bossman has to explain to them why there is a difference.

You would figure he would stop asking us to demo our vehicles...that and I despise doing it anyway...don't want all these h00d ninja's sitting in my truck...but oh well.
