hey crunch has come a long way since owned by maxxsonics. ive seen two reviews/tests of their new products, the 1600.1 which tested about 1300 watts rms at 1 ohm on 14 volts...**** good for that price range. did a 150 on 2 sealed 15s. also are the groundpounder subs, phenomenal testing from what ive seen. those are an spl tough sub and got one of the best reviews ive seen for a tough sub in awhile by car audio and electronics. they plugged it into a wall socket and it did just fine.
I bought one of their 4 channel amps. This thing is so dinky compared to other amps. It's small and light, and it has only 2 15a fuses even though it puts out 600 watts rms bridged. I have a 2 channel 400 watt amp that has 2 25a fuses, so something is wrong here. I doubt they put out their rated power, but my speakers are only rated at 50 watts so it should be enough, and it was dirt cheap.
They emailed me back with rms ratings on the amp. saying it would put out 600-800 rms depending on battery power. So their dynamic ratings are just that, max outputs. But the prices are still right. I wouldn't mind buying one if I didn't have a nine.1 lined up now
