crunch or hifonics

well right now im running a crunch pzi1000.1 at 500 rms to my orion hp2 10 which is 500 watts at 1 ohm. My friend has a 2 channel hifonics amp that can be bridged for 600 rms...whill the sub perform better with the current setup or with the bridged hifonics?

They are both made by the same parent company. Neither one does rated power.

well ive been told the hifonics does 600 rms and the crunch does 500 rms and that the hifonics is a better quality amp....so would it sound better?

well will the extra 100 watts do anymore? or will it run better on a bridged amp?

You wont notice any difference sound wise. I think I read that it takes 300 watts more to get a decibel louder some where. How true that is I dont know. But you could easily find more answers here by searching.

Get a Class D Hifonics and be done. Both Hifonics and Crunch AB amps ****.
