Because when it states on the box, 2000 watts!!!, and when I opened it up and looked at the fusing and manual states 300watt rms, that's a metric assload of over rating. FWIW, it was a vibe.

yeah lanzar tends to over rate just a tad they make good subs for there money but still over rated on both subs and amp definitely keep the crunch

No experience with the Opti's. But the Crunch's haven't given trouble.

i looked at optis on ebay that go for a grand, if u can get one i would..

but if ur not running good electrical for the opti then ur probably going to get the same amount of power out of it as the crunch gp.
