Crunch Amps...good or bad?

A friend of mine is needing a cheap amp that will power a pair of 10's. It needs to be 500 watts rms @ 1 or 4 ohms. The Crunch P500.2 definitely fits his low budget, question is, are these amps and good?

i was there at one time. well that amp will be better than nothing..dont expect mericals or anything

If he can spend just a LITTLE more, you can get a Cadence 750d for around 135 shipped from Ebay. Good amp for those on a tight budget.

Crunch was my first amp back 10 years ago. Loved it and it lasted for ever.

old crunch amps were good, new ones are not so good. spend a little more if you want new or look for a decent used one. you can probably get a much better used amp for 100 bucks. i would go that rout. i picked up a alpine m450 for 76 shipped it was bn too. got lucky but if you look you will find them. ebay is good place to look on a budget.you can get some os punch, hifonics, alpine, etc amps on there that will give ya what you want for that price.

Look around on here i just picked up big bang's lanzar vhc 1200 for 120.
