ok say if i run these horns
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=264-204
says xover point is 500hz 12 dB/octave so if i run a pair of these and bridge 2 of the channels on my zx850.4 to make it run at 4ohms and the horns are 8ohms so i would run them together to make them run at 4ohms so its easier to get power than 8ohms
heres the problem my xover on my amp only goes to 200hz the xover point on the horn says 400-9khz so i would need a inline xover to prevent freq's going to the horn that are lower than 400 right, well what about freqs about 9khz will they hurt the horn or no.
so if i run the two together at 4ohms should i connect a xover on each horn and get the one made to run at 8ohms and block feqs 0-600hz @8ohms and 0-1.2khz at 4ohms, what load will each horn be seeing and will these xovers work and prevent low freqs going to them, also only rated for 150rms the xover is well i plan to give 125-150rms per horn so i would have to use two correct, also the xover on the horn is at 12db octave and the xover is at 6db octave whats the difference
