crossover help for home setup

is it better to have the same amount of tweets as mids? sub is a 12mt and the amp is a behringer ep1500.

i want nice sounding loud mids/highs. what crossover should i get? i dont really know what ill need to make one either. if i made one, would i only need 1?

someone help me out, ive already got those dayton speakers, the mt, the amp should be here tomorow, and im shopping for a new reciever...
