for long term daily use i would advise a ho alt,couple runs 0 gauge, & couple strong batts.

Well I won't need near as much power as that thing says it'll push out, so was hoping to just leave the gains down a bit...

Doing the Big 3 in 2AWG before it goes in... probably end up with a better front batt, and running 2AWG to the trunk for power also.

Really don't wanna do heavy mods to the car just yet... need to save my cash for trade school =(

After reading good review after good review on the Crossfire amps... I bought it (Only $250, and the guy did a power up test when I went to pick it up Yay)

Now a question... I've seen several sources say it's 1ohm stable, and several others say it isn't.

I've got 2 X 4ohm DVC subs, so it's either 4ohm or 1ohm... I'm thinking 4ohm is fine, but might wanna blow my windows out... Will the amp handle the 1ohm load for say, a song or 5 in a row?

Also, and rec's on power... was thinking a single run of 2AWG would be enough if I keep the gain down?

with the electrical setup you're going to run, i'd say stick with 4ohm
