My good old faithful velocity's. Had these for about 8 years. They gave me some good service. This range of speaker by blauphunt was the first speaker that i know of that brought a dvc speaker. It was a 6x9 and man did i drive those things hard. Hard enough in fact to kill them about 3 years ago

Glass marked where i want to cut and then removed from the doors

Top ring mounted at the angle that i needed. This was to try and get them to play as close to the center, top between the 2 front seats. Unfortunately the angle was way to much so i had to settle with a lot less

Grills that i will be using

oops made a mistake and had to remove the door molded piece from the rings in order to stretch the cloth over the rings without any creases
DSC02790.jpg
Cloth pulled over rings, clued to the bottom and then resigned. If anyone decides to do this make sure that the resign doesn't go anywhere near the glue otherwise it will come lose. To avoid this i placed the pods upside down on top of something.

Pods ground and ready for body filler or as you guys would call it bondo i think.
DSC02796.jpg
Body filler added and then flattened with a sanding block to make it look smooth and straight

DSC02798.jpg
Filler boards cut and filed to fit flush with door panel and ready for trimming
