I got a used kicker comp vr sub and there was a sticker on it, I removed the sticker but it left some adhesive residue so i got some nail polish remover and rubbed it on the residue to easily remove it.

Then I realised that the part that I rubbed got all shiny kinda like crome so i decided to rub all the silver areas if the cone and it ended up looking pretty cool.

I was just wodering if doing that had any bad effects on the woofer.

Eeek yeah stay away from the surround, anyone have any ideas on preventing the solvent from getting uner the surround? Id think using a q-tip all the way around the edge with very little on it would keep clear of the edge pretty well.

When I did that I wiped it right away with damp cloth then with a dry cloth, I was careful around the surround I was well aware of the adhesive plus I got these subs cheap anyway.

seems pretty kool, i'd do with mine but sicne i paid 400 for both in a box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif wife would kill me if she walked in mid-job lol
