Critique this box design... and port help.

Box will be going in a single cab Dodge Ram. It will be for 2 12" Type-R's. Maybe dimensions being:

60" wide, 20" high, 12" wide at bottom, 8"wide at top. This comes out to be about 5.32^3ft. Sound right so far?

Also, it is going to be ported, what is the best was to port a box for a single cab truck? With I slot port I would not know where placement would be best, but I was figuring we could do a single 3" aero behind the driver seat, facing up... does this sound good?

Aero ports facing up, but you'll need more than a single 3" for 2 type R's.

get a pair of 3" aeros at the least, or go slotted so you can bend around a corner within the box (if the port ends up being too long for an aero).

I did some research... for a 6" aero I would need a 9" port length... sound right for about a 34hz tune?

i say 4 cubes net. both face forward on passenger side and have 2 6'' external aero ports. or 3 4'' ports. tune to 34-36. and give a lot of power. and you got a bass racer 139 right there

I forgot to mention it is for a friend, and will be run off of a Hifonics Brutus 1606d. Would like to stray away from external ports.

he needs more power. a single type r could easily handle a 1606d on its own... let alone two r's

For what he is going to use it for, which is daily driving, I think he'll be fine with that power going to them. Sould get decently loud in a standard cab.
