Crimping Big Ring Terminals

I prefer a large flat head over a chisel, but I crimp across the face deep, close to the opening. The I crimp lengthwise on the backside to lock it. Or you can buy those stinger terminals that tighten with a allen screw.............

dude, there was a thread about this like... last week with like 5 pages of answers... easiest ways... hammer outside the car... channel locks inside the car.... crimp em... take em off, make it a little smaller, crimp again, take it off, make it smaller, crimp again........works like a charm

edit: I mean vice grips

My Dad's shop is 20 miles from me...And he lives even further.

I'd rather use a fcking screwdriver...

Hello There/

Wow...that's not cool at all.W/o you getting upset w/me...you did ask for some help, right? So help was given/;).I have that $20.00 Hammer Crimp type, like the one in the link from Cromwell, and it works great for me.

It crimps from 8gauge to like 4/0 Cable.Than you can heat the barrel of the connector, and use solder. After it's cooled, use heat shrink tubing, either Red [+]or Black [-] for neg.

I personally use adhesive shrink tubing, especially outside the vehicle. It's waterproof and acts as a strain relief[Triple Wall version only],so the cable will not pull out. Hope that helps you.

Good Luck w/your System/:).

Best Regards/

Raymond
