Crimping Big Ring Terminals

i try to use a Vice or a pr of wire strippers that have some sort of bump on them for crimping. I crip 0g alot and if worst comes to worst i'll take a hammer to it on my concrete front stoop/porch.

i wouldnt use a flathead.

this si what i do.... i broke my steel hammer do this also lol

I don't have a vise, nor a bench. Why not a flathead? It's the same thing as a chisel except not as wide.

But I can take a hammer to it outside. The wire's gunna be outside of the car the whole time (at least until install, so, it should be fine hammering it outside)

Thank you for a completely useless post. Obviously they have crimpers that size. My Dad has a pair at his shop, he also has something you lay on the ground, put the wire in, then hit the top with a hammer and it works awesome.

But I don't have either so I'm using the tools I have.

how is that a useless post?? u asked how to crimp big terminals and he SHOWS you tool to do it??? WTF??
Well, that's nearly a specialized tool. Unless you're cutting bolts on a daily basis, or you own your own shop, odds are you won't ever have that tool.

And if you have enough dough to just buy that to crimp 4 or 5 wires, then kudos to you. But, I don't have that kind of money.
