Crew cab truck owners post setups (anything besides under seat please)

I have a crew cab truck and i could probably fit 2 little 8s with small mounting depth behind my seats but thats it. under the seats are all blocked off.

i have 60/40 bench seats so im probably going to have to remove the 40 seat and put it all there.

Just looking for ideas and some sweet setups.

i would rather not lose the entire back part. i dont have passengers but odd and end stuff like groceries =/

Well I drive an ext cab so its a little different.. But I recently did a friends single cab where we were able to remove the middle part of the bench and put a 12" BTL off of 2600 American Bass watts and its plenty loud.. If you can remove part of the seat and keep the rest thats a good route to go.. Ive got a dodge mega cab but there is a bunch of room behind the back seat. i can put up some pics if it will help

i built custom boxes to go behind the seats, but somehow i missed seeing something important. the parts of the seat that bolt to the floor, one side is on the outside so its out of the way, but the other is on the inside where i planned to put the box...

i guess ill be getting a box to replace one of the seats. downfiring would be cool so u cant look in and see them, and i could if needed put stuff on top of the box, but probably hard to custom build and make it so its stable.

i could just make a regular box and face the subs towards the door but doesnt seem like it would be good for the sound.

if i face the box towards the other seat that would be good but if i put like groceries or whatever in there i would be afraid they bashing the subs when cornering or something.

thats why i was wondering of how others have done different setups just for ideas.

I should be starting a build soon in my F150 FX4 super crew...I'm doing a custom console box with a single DD 3510...on 3 old school Kicker amps...mounted under the rear seat...the amps will consist of a Kicker XS50 a ZR 120 and a ZR360 or 240 ...The XS50 will power the dual 1.5 sub the ZR120 will be used for rear fill and center ch...and the other amp will power a set of high end DD componets up front.....I'll be using a brand new old school Audio ontrol ESP 3 for my center and rear fill processor....

i have a long bed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and i just put the front wheels on top of the box. or throw them in my toy box. i ride for a akraix entertainment so i would never go without room for my quad/quads.

now thats what im talking about. how did u seal the gap between the cab and bed? and what did u use to cut the bed?

that really is a good idea especially so u can use ur whole cab and u still get any subs u want...

the boot you see in the first 2 pics seals inbetween the cab and bed. its called an acordian boot.

I usually do 1 ported DD1008 on a ~500w in crew cab chevy trucks. You can fit 2 also.

You might be surprised how loud a few little 8" can get.

Thats my setup i know its not a crew cab but its close lol i said **** backseats.. i have a false floor build and ready to drop in just haven't got around to it..
