It's not dsp but He upgraded to a Psm and he still has it and it works fine it would at least clean up the signal don't you think

It's just a summing LOC. You won't need it if the DSP takes high level inputs and 99% do.

https://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-focal-focsolid4bk_p-24697.htm I have this amp to power my speakers but it's in another car of mine I was gonna take that amp out and use it to power the speakers in this build and replace it with this amp https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_67768_Rockford-Fosgate-Punch-P400X4.html or is the Rockford a superior amp to the focal and I should just use the rf amp in this build

Yeah That's why I planned on using some sort of dsp. I have an arc audio sri that my brother will let me have for 150 bucks you have any experience with them?

Thats not a dsp lmao. You'll still run into the same issues if you dont have a real DSP with a real 31 band EQ to fix the horrible factory EQ curve.

This is what an actual dsp can do. Those LOCs dont do jack sh*t to help the sound other than providing an RCA plug for your amps. You'll just run into horrible sound whatever you install if you rely on the stock head unit's "premium" audio processing which is beyond garbage.

I know it's not real dsp that's why I stated that previously. I just didn't know if it would be worth getting or not. And the "premium" sound system I had referenced in quotations earlier because it is laughable that they would call it that! I definitely wasn't trying to brag about some sheety paper speakers and bass rollover with the Sony amp lol. The previous owner wasted 800 bucks on a factory upgrade.

Only decent thing about it is I won't have to hack my dash or a pillars to put some extra speakers in. But I agree with you. not mad at all btw I just realized my earlier posts could have been taken out of context. Just didn't want you to think I was being an ***
