Craigslist arsehole!!! help me out!!

Hey. Question for all you computer guys.

Some dickface put my phone number, and made up a story saying my dog was free to a good home. Now that pisses me off. The craigslist posting has been deleted, but if i google it, i can get bits and pieces of it. Is there anything i can do to figure out where this came from?

craigslist should have a record of the email and the IP where the posting originated from. and they had to use an email to post it, so they should be able to track it.
