Cracked subwoofer basket

This DD 1008a has been making a rattling noise recently. I've moved around a couple of boxes and I must have mishandled it in the process. Finally played it free air today and found it has a very thin crack on the basket just above the magnet. I'm wondering how I can fix this... thinking regular epoxy, any other ideas? It operates fine other than the creaking/ratting noise from this.
