Cracked Punch P3 dustcap.

Hi, I installed a new refurb 12 punch p3, was playing it with around 450-500 watts, when suddenly it stopped playing. I open the trunk and there was no dustcap in it, only the black paper/kevlar cone. The front part were it says rockford p3 was in the floor of my trunk.

The woofer still plays, and quite loud too, but I want to get a new dustcap. My question is were? I think a 8" dustcap would work fine, or a 9" dustcap will work to, what do I need to glue it? Contact Adhesive?

I can provide pics after 5PM so you can check it out. But please, if you know any site that sells 8" or 9" dustcaps, please help me.

Quick set epoxy will hold the cap good, you can get them from many companies, I think DD has blank ones.

Actually those look very good, what are my chances of getting an inverted dustcap?

7 1/8 looks good, It will cover almost all of the cone, or is a smaller dustcap just better, lower mms? Will it make a difference if I use poly or paper? The old dustcap was poly, the cone is paper/kevlar.
