Hi, I installed a new refurb 12 punch p3, was playing it with around 450-500 watts, when suddenly it stopped playing. I open the trunk and there was no dustcap in it, only the black paper/kevlar cone. The front part were it says rockford p3 was in the floor of my trunk. The woofer still plays, and quite loud too, but I want to get a new dustcap. My question is were? I think a 8" dustcap would work fine, or a 9" dustcap will work to, what do I need to glue it? Contact Adhesive? I can provide pics after 5PM so you can check it out. But please, if you know any site that sells 8" or 9" dustcaps, please help me.
