Thanks.. But I didnt want to put too much money into the wood... I have a HUGE piece of 1/2in plexi in my garage so I use a lot for various reasons

That gap is fixed now btw

coat the inside of the box with fiberglass resin, this will seal it up good and should be just as good as mdf then.

Well is the resin clear? because I already painted everything and I dont want to repaint it lol.

Oh and I havent gotten the chance to hook up all the lighting, I came home yesterday and my mom destroyed the garage, so I spent the whole afternoon/night cleaning it..

He bought the cheap wood because it was cheaper, buying resin for the inside of the mbox would make it more expensive than mdf.
