couple pics of my explorer install, advice?

heres a couple of my system. still a work in progress, need to clean up the wiring, cover the box, and figure out a way to keep it in place while securing my optima g31a yellowtop, any ideas? maybe glueing a box section over on the passenger side above the wheelwell?

if i was to compete with this setup, what classes would i be in? haven't been metered yet, but its got to be doing upper 140's, maybe breaking 50's once its all finished. thanks to robin (iamamp3pimp) for the box plans.

for some reason, the pulley that came on the iraggi i got off ebay made the belt walk about 2 slots towards the front on the power steering pulley. haven't heard of anyone else that had this problem in an explorer? anyway, i wrote him an email and 48 hours later i had the new pulley installed and working great, sits a little closer to the alternator. just wanted to applaud iraggi's customer service.

1/0 from the battery to the rear, to a monster 3 way 4 gauge splitter. same with the ground, but its grounded at the rear. probably going to run a second 1/0 lead to connect the 2 batteries negative terminals, and use the existing 1/0 lead to connect the positives when i do my deadener, in the next couple of weeks. was a ***** drilling that big hole for the grommet in the firewall though, and if i do it now it'll be a big bulge.

iirc most stock/street classes are boxes below window lines and/or one amp or two amps strapped.

yea tell me about the oversized grommet, i had to shop around for the right tool to use for the longest, but i found the right tool and it did the job instantly

how'd you do that, i use the biggest drill bit i have in my set, just over 3/4 i think. then used a rotary grinder to grind it out, but i did it low in the firewall to have the wire and fusebox as hidden as possible under the hood. got the grommet at lowes, i think it was 5/8th inside diameter, but it was pretty thick, OD was somewhere over an inch.
