Way to shit on the OPs thread by attacking a harmless post by an author that you have such an E-hatred for that you feel it necessary to show your *** like a 15 year old girl.Once again jim you fail to surprise me. "people on this forum are dumb and only like spl, I am edgy and cool as I like pseudo high end home audio that my buddies on other "better" forums tell me to like!
You really are a boring, pathetic piece of shit Jim. And a bit of a broken record at that. Get a new shtick, this one is played out. Or even better.. go find a home at those other forums and leave this one as you found it.. as it is obviously not a place you enjoy spending time at. Before you go though- you never did answer me- those boys that were involved in the whole ssa nonsense (you know.. the one where you all packed up your balls and went home).. you are aware you are most often the butt of there jokes, and not so much a real friend.. you DO know that right?
To the op- waste your money on whatever you feel like. However, know you are very likely on a fools errand.
$300 for JUST the Pioneer amp? If so, look elsewhere. You can buy that amplifier for $160...I actually have not paid the bill up entirely as he wanted me to hold off untill the job was complete. I do know it was close to $300.
Lots of ignorant f*cks on this forum. You have to ignore them, man...Way to shit on the OPs thread by attacking a harmless post by an author that you have such an E-hatred for that you feel it necessary to show your *** like a 15 year old girl.
250 ish seems stick in my mind. Certainly he would be charging me msrp. In my mind I hope him making decent wages generates some pride and proffesionalsm. The installers integrity and time will be the only true tale.$300 for JUST the Pioneer amp? If so, look elsewhere. You can buy that amplifier for $160...
Well, for the same (or less) money, you could've bought an Arc Audio amp to power that sub:250 ish seems stick in my mind. Certainly he would be charging me msrp. I know enough that a watt is not a watt. The specs of that watt are all the difference in the world. Is it calculatable enough to warrant revisiting that amp selection from a sound perspective with a sub? or the subs life itself?
Get used to it, you wont escape it here. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Like Jim said, there are some really nice things made overseas that are inexpensive and some that are just the opposite. So you bash your way into civil thread for some personal banter and throw out nuggets of wisdom like this...I'm not impressed.
People that are interested in car audio should learn to do as much of their own work as possible...Well...No, having a choice I would prefer to not pay that kind of mark-up.
Naturally you know how shops tend to use the "systems warranty" overhead for the associated product sales.
In over 30 years in my proffesion I typically have the highest reguard for craftsmanship and company integrity in Japanese and European products. Many of thier cottage industries put pride at the top of reasons they exist. Seems that you could say that about nearly everything in the times we are living.People that are interested in car audio should learn to do as much of their own work as possible...
If you're a carpenter of any sorts you should be able to build a subwoofer enclosure and run a little bit of wiring.Seems that you could say that about nearly everything in the times we are living.
I am a finish carpenter and I say the same thing about houses. Problem being that one individual simply cannot tackle the learning curve for everything he desires.
If he doesn't want to, he doesn't have to. Not everyone has the DIY attitude, let it go mayn.If you're a carpenter of any sorts you should be able to build a subwoofer enclosure and run a little bit of wiring.
Seriously, it's not that difficult...
I'm not arguing with the guy at all. We're simply having a discussion...If he doesn't want to, he doesn't have to. Not everyone has the DIY attitude, let it go mayn.
Nicely put.Seems that you could say that about nearly everything in the times we are living.
