My Jeep would just stop accelerating and rev to about 5-6k rpm's then catch into gear.... Is your car doing that?

Yea but a lot of times it wont even catch the gear though.

Yea when I was getting my oil changed a month ago they added some in there for me.

I guess this is the problem of having a caravan with 190k miles on it with original parts.

Consider yourself lucky....Dodge caravan with 190k miles have usually gone through 2 transmissions so far

I didn't see anything when I looked today when I got home from break.

And how much do the trannys cost to replace?

I heard that the ****** and the engine should be replaced if the ****** goes, is that true?

I wouldnt waste money on ******,,,,considering the fact that the engine could go next since your ****** just went out

Lots of your seem like you know nothing about what you speak of. Just cause a ****** goes doesnt mean your motor is next to go...

Dodge caravan...if you gt a oem reman or a jasper *****...figure ***** and labor..2500-3200 bucks...more than the van is worth. And no just because the ***** went out doesnt meant he engine is...although niether of those are known for longevity in dodge minivans

What year Caravan? Some of the models had ***** controller problems, or the speed sensor on the side, you need to pull codes. Dont just assume its the *****. What engine is it also?
