Could a fried amp blow my subs too?

I listened to one sub last night and it was making a scratchy noise but the other ones had a faint sound as well but not as loud as the one. Then another sub started making the scratchy noise too but the original one stopped making it, I'm a little confused by this.

if i were you,i would test the coils with dmm to see if the ohm loads is ok.if the speakers seem scratchy or so i would test with the other amp like you did and play for a little bitor couple hours.if that dont help just send in for recone.on the amp part even though you might didnt buy the amp from dj talk to him about it.maybe he will help out some kind of way or lead you in the right direction.

I did what you said and I checked the coils and they still read fine at 4 ohm each. So what I just did was hooked them up to another amp, had them hooked up to an orion 1200D for testing, and they worked fine and flawlessly. So it looks like I have a AQ 2200D that I still need to figure out what I did wrong, I think having it mounted to the box caused it to malfunction. And now I have a bad Orion 1200D that I bought off ebay that wasn't good becuase I've had it hooked up for all of 5 minutes and it had something wrong with it, looks like I'll be contacting the seller on that one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I can live with a bad amp but when my subs sounded blown is when it sucked but it looks like they're fine now.

Also I hooked them up to a orion xtr pro 1000(in my sig) and it gave them more output than the AQ ever did even when I initially hooked it up so I think there was something wrong with it when I received it. I bought it off the previous owner who said the terminal wire jumped and made an arc on the positive terminal of the amp but everything worked right. I'm trying to get a hold of him to figure that one out.

that could be your problem if the POS/NEG wires were touched together while the POS was connected...

I've yet to hear of an AQ amp having issues from vibrations, but there's always a first.

Ya thats what I told him and since he recieved it, It never worked right it wasn't giving the output like it should. I told him to contact the seller about it..

That's good to know about the vibration thing. I didn't think anything of it because it still had decent output but now I'm starting to notice that it should have been a lot more.
