got a friend in the gas business... fill up BEFORE NEXT WEEK... everything is going up an extra 20 cents(here anyway)... from 2.39 now to 2.59

Price dropped 2 cents / liter here in the past 48hrs. Still 99.9 ... which sucks.

weve been at 98 for a while, in 2001 it was 51 cents.. wowza

This past winter it was up around 91.6, then dropped down to 83.5 around Christmas time ... just keeps going up now.

It's right around $2.30 here in middle TN. Back in 99, there was a gas war or something and gas was around .80...

It could be worse. During late 70s people had to wait in line to buy gas. The govt could control the price of gas, then suppply would run out.

Alternative fuels is the answer. I am a big fan of hydrogen technology...I believe in iceland, they use it in solid form. Looks like bricks or something.

Jazn...how do you spend 25 to fill up your tank...you just said its about 3 dollars near your house!!! Do you have a 7-8 gallon tank??

Anyways...chicago area here (suburbs) and its gone up 20 cents in the last week!!!! was around 2.60.....now 2.90+ (talking premium here)

OK IT CHANGED... EARLIER today i said that it was up around 2.90 here.......Well that was before i left the house today...2.98@!!!! GAS PRICES HAVE RISEN ALMOST 40 CENTS THIS WEEK!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
