Corolla Battery Upgrade with Zx750.1

My car is an 05 Corolla with stock alt and battery.

So I intalled my 750 with 2 12 type r's and a 1.5F cap that was given to me with the deal. It sounds good but just want to be on the safe side. I plan on doing the big 3 with 2 awg wire. I still get some dimming but not much. Cap meter dips to 12.9V at the peak bass and 13.6 steady.

What are your recommendations on dumping the cap and installing something else (battery, batcap)? And what type/models?

if you have a dmm test the voltage without the cap and see if it changes, if not just leave it. atleast it works as a dmm if anything lol

this might be a stupid question, but do you mount in parallel with the stock battery, or replace the battery?

i would replace the stock battery with a powermaster battery, or if u want a cheaper battery you could get a kinetik. then if u wanted to add second battery you would connect + to + and - to - so yes parallel

In your case you could simply replace the stock battery with another group 22 battery, like the Kinetik HC1400. It should be a perfect fit.

If you can find a Kinetik for less than a Powermaster, then you should buy the Kinetik since it would be a better value. They are close enough in performance, but Kinetik has a longer product history in the battery market.

my sis has the same car but with a zx1000.1 and a 12in l7 alls i did was upgrade the batt to a Kinetik HC1400 never did the big 3 and the lights barley dim,and i dont have a cap in it eather
