people generalize all the time. "they stole my car" or "when you do this, make sure you....." in directions. Its a generalization.

"they stole my car" isn't even relevant to the argument of "you" being plural.

"when you do this, make sure you....." This is the correct composition and usage of the word "you" in a plural manner.

Now if you want to discuss calling someone a troll being rude or offensive. We can debate that. But it's mostly a matter of opinion and feelings. So it's rather hard to debate ones intentions when someone is feeling "attacked"...

Equal rights are great, but right from the start we have given cops unequal rights. They have rights that no average citizen has, and because of this, they should be accountable to a further extent than the average citizen.

No we didn't give them more rights. We gave them more responsibility and my definition is from merriam so it is true and valid. If it was a right, then we couldn't strip them of it. They have the same right to legal defense as we place on ANY criminal. Position simply does not dictate this. If it was, then we would have to supply everyones "position" in society during every case as evidence. Then the punishment would have to be tiered for every social position.

Your idea is not how it works, and if it did, it would bring more uproar than the process we do use currently.

You fail at reading. There wasn't shit wrong with my car, my license, or the plates. The cop thought he had him one, but all he got was Fail. I'm from Chicago, so I know when a cop is reading your plate. I made it easy on him and pulled over before he could turn his lights on. He was like " I guess you know why I'm pulling you over" I said, "No" Then he went into that whole plates being expired shit. I got no ticket or anything, but it's the principle. I was guilty of being in Columbus Ohio with a nice car with Illinois plates.

I don't fail at reading. You fail at giving enough context for me to know that you were being sarcastic. Just because you put "expired" doesn't mean I would know that they were not actually expired.

So you got pulled over and then released with nothing, whats the point of the argument? If you would have jumped out of the car and started yelling and he would have thrown you down, do you agree that it would have been your fault (even though you did nothing wrong?)

True story. I was coming out of Sonic in a 2007 Impala with Illinois plates. Here there is a sticker that we have to buy once a year with the expiration date on it. The one on the Car was December 07. It was April of 07. THen the bastid had the nerve to say after he was caught in a lie that "the same thing happened to him before" You can have your same license plate forever. It never expires. You have to get a new sticker every year though.

I'm not racist, but if black people didn't steal so many bikes this event probably wouldn't have happened. Cop probably thought the bike was stolen...would explain the resisting arrest

Yeah, you're right. Never in the history of well known rental companies has there ever been a mistake, unsafe car, or incorrect information on the vehicle. What was a I thinking. Must be why they are always so mechanically sound and never ever break down.

Now I'm assuming your a late teen early 20 white guy (could be wrong, just going from statistics of users on here). That being said, if you throw enough of a fuss and got out of your car could you see yourself in this exact same situation? I could.

You are free to believe that. I am merely pointing that it goes against one of the beliefs the country was founded on. Many would agree with your feeling that punishment should be given with regard to position. I am not one of them, plus it would quickly become a logistical nightmare.

I think it is bull shit that a cops life is "worth more" than a civilian. I hate to hear things like 3 people and one officer killed. Officer gets killed and all the cops get nuts to get the guy, 3 people get killed and its just another day on the force i guess. Maybe that is the media making it look that way but if thats how it is that is bull shit.

My last thought, yeah that situation is bull shit and shouldent have happened.

BUT , if you didnt do nothing shut the **** up and stop resisting / argueing
