Cooling my amp

Ok, I would like to keep the Pyles, ok? I am understanding that it's the amp that has the problem. So I paid 40 for it off craigslist, I could probably resell it for 50. You know where I can get a better used one for that much?

You obliviously do not want to take our advise to upgrade your amp AND SUBS so stop asking for it.

The fact is that the subs and amp you have are cheap very cheap and are not worth anything in the real market people are basically saying that when you get a real amp the subs will probably blow. So you should probably upgrade both

Ok, now I think I will sound like a newbie *******, because only 2 of you out of a ****load said the subs need replacing, but I ****ing know I need an amp, but I have extremely limited amounts of money, so what I said in the previous posts was " ok you can get a better amp for 50 bucks? And don't even ****ing doubt shit that happens here on craigslist in Eugene, OR, because even I know that cheap shit Dual amps are cheap shit Dual amps, but if I can ****ing get a new 300w one for 55, turn around and get a 600w one for 40, THEN sell the 300w for 40..........anything can ****ing happen. SO yes, I do doubt that you are hard up on doubting the Pyle's capabilities, so yes, I do understand that I need a better amp. But I am barely getting by on what I have, and I am sorry that you 2 don't understand that my "mommy" died a few years ago and can't buy me all my precious stereo equipment, because I am doing this on a limited budget.

Look, i'm sorry I even registered to this site. I try not to judge shit, but you guys seem kinds judgy yourselves. Jesus, is just a question of why its overheating, not i a cheap piece of shit, tell me what you rich bastards buy. Or your girlfriends but for you. Or your mommy. Sorry about the double posts, too it was around 35 minutes and the original was not up. thanks for the "advice", and **** off.

Ok, lemme try to help...noob to noob.

I agree that maybe the impedence is too low, so if you can check on that, do so. If you have the patience, turn on your system and start at low volumes and find out what's going on with the amp, and see how it heats up. Also, be sure it's in a good place to dissipate heat.

To paraphrase what a lot of people are saying but a little more gently, you pay for what you get, and if you read these posts and see what people are running, you see why. Everyone is doing different things, according to what they want to accomplish. When I started here a year or so ago I felt the same way about the system I was running, and wanted to upgrade things as cheaply as possible (Didn't work). However, the same applies, I got what I paid (and didn't pay) for. I could have saved about 5-600 bucks in the long run if I had listened. If you don't have the means, no one is knocking you, but at the same time, we're not going to withold information from you.

We re all here to help however we can, some just more straightforward than others, so please do not take things so personally.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif You need to get a better amplifier if you keep having over heating problems. You are running the amp way to hard or you have it wired below the minimum impedance of the amplifier. DO YOU HAVE THE GAIN AND BASS BOOST MAXED OUT ? and do you know if the subwoofers are dual voice coil or single ?
