Converting WMV to AVI

I have a few videos from my friend. I want to convert it into AVI files. I tried a couple of free software yesterday, but they were no good and their output was horrible. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Hi,

I use a conversion program called Movavi VideoSuite. It works out for me. You can quickly convert WMV to AVI, MPEG, MP4, DivX, VOB or any other popular video format. Please let me know if you face any problem. Good luck!
