is there any easy way to deaden the roof on a convertable. i am loosing alot or sound out of it.

Yes. Find a hardtop version of your car and cut it off. Remove the convertible crap from your car and weld the hardtop to your ride.

i was thinkin that or find some one who does upholstery and have them sew it back together after i lay a thing of deadener down

first of all, deadening a convertible soft top would be pointless, fabric lets sound out regardless. second of all, deadening the fabric would not hold and would probably interfere with the way the top operated.

buy a hard top if you are that worried about the sound
