Constant 12V source???

I have my H/U wired to the cig lighter fuse for a constant 12V source. When I try to use the cig lighter to charge my Iphone, it blows my fuse every time. What other sources can I use for a constant 12v for my deck so I dont keep blowing fuses?
...the battery?

just pull a wire over to your fuse panel on drvrs side and use one of these

or lust drop your knee bolster nand use a large shotch lock to tap into you ignition wire off the colum

You're seriously asking about what 12 volt constant to tap into?

Wow.

I personally ran an 8ga wire from the batt to a multi fused distroblock that i mounted behind my glove box. From this constant 12v, i have my alarm's 12v +, My radio's 12v+, My Roofmount LCD's 12v+, Phone charger 12v+, Radar Detector 12v+, DVD 12v+, And power inverter 12v+ all with thier own fuses.

To keep the cigg lighter fuse from popping, you can use a larger fuse. Whatever the lighter is [5a?] plus 10a for the radio, So you'd need a 15a fuse. the wiring to the cigg lighter should be around 12ga, which should handle 15a of current.

Edit: Forgot to mention my 8ga power has a circuit breaker fused for the WIRE, NOT the amount of power being pulled threw it.

I'd be extremely surprised if the cig. wire is that large. I've never seen 12g wire for a cigarette lighter ever.

A good 12 volt source inside of the car would be @ the ignition harness...
