Considering subs everywhere!

Okay everyone, first off; hey. sup. anyways this is my first thread (yay) and i just got a chevy aveo. its fugly as fugly goes but im trying to hook up the system. So far in my other car i had just the 6x9 5 ways and 12 inch shallow. it sounded great with some dance music and stuff but it had a hard time with things like rock. the sub was just too much. so heres my questions:

question 1: can i add a couple 8 inch subs (both connected to a single monoblock amp) to hit just the highest-low bass frequencies to keep the sound nice and crisp across the board?

question 2: can i keep my one 12 inch (connected to its own monoblock amp) and configure it to hit the deeper stuff to prevent the sub from sounding sloppy on the high end? this 12 just does not sound good with rock and stuff like that.

question 3: i was on pioneer and they have 8 inch shallow subs that can either be sealed subs or "free air"?? does this mean i can install these subs in my doors, add some dyno mat, and be set??

my gf has a 10 inch sub and it sounds fantastic with rock music but sounds pretty lacking with stuff like house edm and other dance music. i want to combine two 8's and the 12 to give the perfect sound. how???

also if anyone has a chevy aveo i would like some advice about instlaling 8 inch subs in my rear door panels ( the aveo is a sedan with no rear door speakers) . Is there space for an 8 inch sub in each door?

You just need a good tuned box with good sub,you can't put 8 and 12 with good result,every size of subwoofer is not sloppy but in the wrong box Yes!

Just get a good box BUILT for the 12" I have a 15" sounds good on all music from decaf to country

size does not determine what it can play. The box determines that. Stay away from pioneer subs, they are borderline junk.

its all in the box. while some subs are punchier and boomier in nature from the QE/FS they all can play the bandwidth with the correct alignment.

okay well thanks for the replys guys. Unfortunately i have a box built specifically for my speaker. I guess im stuck with what i have haha

Might be a poorly engineered box. Theres lots of boxes that are designed by accoustically illiterate fashionistas with horrible output and sound quality but looks really nice and professional.
