Considering 6.5" IB subs in place of boxed 10" sub. Thoughts?

seriourly, whats the maximum you can fit?

if you can fit an 8inch farily easily, then go with that.

however, I imagine, that 6X9 would be easier to fit...

Stockers are 6.5" and I am sure that I can fit 7" w/o a problem. 8" may be a challenge because the rear deck is not very deep (front to back) and the trunk bars are in the way.

The nice thing about those TB 6x9's is they are single 8 ohm drivers, wire them in parallel to the 3rd and 4th channel of your amp bridged at 4 ohms and your all set.

It cost me about $60 using gas lifters from O'rileys Auto Parts and some bolts to attach stuff from lowes. Now my trunk opens like a champ!
