connecting mono amp to 2 D2's for most watts

hey guys. i took my 2 magnum D2's into the car stereo place with my car. i told him i want him to hook em up so my 1800 watt amp runs to 900 watts to each sub. im hoping he doesnt do the 4 ohm and get like 450watts to each D2's thats BUll //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. so i told him i want 2ohm hook up. can some1 explain how to do it so i can just print it out for him if he blows it hehe. i want my 1x1800w at 2ohms to be hooked up to my D2's so they have 900watts each. no less.. thanks alot guys.

I'm not sure if D2's are 2ohm DVC, but if they are then wire the subs coils in series, then paralell to the amp!

If you have to tell your installer how to do something then it is time to find a new installer.
