Connecting Ipod to HU

Im going to connect my Ipod to my HU, but had some questions for anyone who has done this before. I dont want an FM transmitter, and I dont have a cassete deck.

I have an eclipse 8443 HU. I dont have my manual handy....does anyone know if this HU has an aux input? If so, what cables would I need? Im looking to hardwire it in as opposed to using the cig lighter.

If anyone has any experience, links, or anything at all to contribute..please feel free.

look at ur head unit, its usualy on the bottom right

its a head fone plug

u need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm plug to plug into aux,

The 8443 has an aux in.

it's an RCA correct? So I would need a 3.5mm plug to 1 or 2 RCA plug?

I am trying to connect my ipod to the aux input on my 8443. Does anybody know how to turn on the AUX input, or how to change the source to the AUX jack? Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
