I just connected my hdtv to my laptop via a vga cable now the only way i have to connect sound from the laptop to the tv is by using a headphone jack that is located on the laptop and plugging that into a jack on the tv. this produces a buzzing noise that when watching movies is very noticeable during quieter moments in the movie and is also quite annoying. is there a better way to get sound from the laptop to play through the tv? the only ports on the laptop are.

VGA

Expansion potr 3

USB

Headphone

SPDIF

S video

and some eathernet ports
