Connecting amp to stock headunit

It *might* work for him if his amp can handle high voltage inputs.

He might be better off with an adjustable output line converter, or an active line driver.

What is the model number of the amp he is using?

^^^what he said. I really don't like LOC's. But sometimes they're necessary. Eventually he's going to want to change out the head unit. Better all around sound from an aftermarket HU.

^ I agree. Hopefully someday he will but i also won't be surprised if he doesn't.

The amp he is going to be using is an Audiopipe ap15001d. We're gonna set the gain to only around 1000rms @ 1 ohm.

You mentioned an adjustable output line converter, or an active line driver. Would you be able to recommend one for me?

Thanks for the help guys, appreciate it
