Connecting 2 subs to a mono block amp

So I need help with connecting my 2 subs a my amp. My amp is a mono block amp but has 2 positive and 2 negative terminals. I've already figured out that I'm going to wire both in parallel to get the resistance i need on the amp and I know that i can connect speaker 1 to speaker 2 then speaker 2 to the amp but what I'm wondering is, can i wire each sub in parallel then connect them each to the amp separate and get the same result?

If you don't wire the subs together in parallel the resistance won't change, so no I don't think you will get the same result. Is the amp bridgable? Does it do the same wattage out of two channels as it would bridged out of just the one channel?

The amp is probably internaly bridged. What kind of amp is it?

No means they are already connected inside, you can use either set of terminals or both...

they just have 2 sets of positive and negitive outputs for easy wiring, so ur not trying to jam a bunch of wires into one set of terminals. they are parralled internally.

If the amp is a mono block then yes. There are two sets of terminals on the amp for added convenience.

Its the Audioque 2200. Yes is mono and the second terminal isnt for a second channel only so you have more room to connect wires. I'm just wondering if it will pull the same resistance if it wire both parallel directly to it as it would if it wired sub 1 to sub 2 then to the amp. As I understand it what I would be doing would be like putting 2 subwoofer positives into the same terminal hole and 2 negatives into the same hole (if one hole were large enough to do that). I know different, this is the first time i have worked with an amp like this so i threw me off a little.

I use all the terminals to make it easier on me, but it's really up to you.
