Browsing on http://www.woofersetc.com I am looking for a set of 5 and 1/4 CDT components...

I have a budget of $200.

These are my options...

http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=3079 (EF-51Neo)

http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=4609 (CL-51A-25 PRO)

http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=4893 (EF-51Neo/DRT-25 Pro)

As well, I am looking at some Pioneer Premier TS-C520PRS, but I am not sure if these are gonna be better or worse compared to CDT. Up until 3 days ago, I had never heard of CDT...

BTW, My head unit is a Pioneer Premier P860MP and the components will be run off of a Alpine MRPF450 Amp (75WRMS x 4).

i am using the CL 61 6.5" comps and am so happy with the over all way they sound, the mids are very loud and the tweeters are silk and smooth at any volems. i have heard the Premiers and they sounded OK but they lacked detail and sounded muddy at hi volumes.

i say to go with the CL51a25 pro //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif :yumyum:

if ur going tro get a/d/s then go for the 346s...
Cheap 3-series are getting hard to find, and these are more comparable to the CL-EF sets you can get in the $150-$200 range than the 346cs, which is more comparable to the ES series. The 2-series use the same tweet as the 3-series, but with a polypropylene mid (as opposed to spun-aluminum) and a simplified crossover.

I'd take these over a CDT CL or EF any day. But I'm not big on CDT, so, that's just my bias.

And the pricetag is worth considering. These a very, very good speakers for $84 authorized. That's an excellent deal, which may evaporate soon.

For the money, I don't see something better out there.

I love my CDT's but **** like notwerk said the ads 245ix for that price tag I would go for those! $84 can't beat it

So 75W is not enough for CDT, but now I have people recommending ADS and Crystal...

I am looking for some great sound quality up front.

I am aslo thinking of the PRS's from Pioneer and some MB Quart reference...
