alright, so i have 2 subs...i want to build myself a sealed box
it says the smallest box should be 1ft(cubed) for each sub and largest should be 4.6ft(cubed)
now, how do i turn that into dimensions?
--32in(length) x 16in(height) x 16in(width)...the volume is 8192
so then, i divide 8192 by 12 to make it feet...and i get 683 feet
then take the cubed root of 683...which is 8.8 feet...so the volume of my box with those dimensions would be 8.8 cubic feet?
if i did that right, the box i have in there now is 8.4 cubic feet.
should i build another box, and make it the maximum cubic feet(9.2ft cubed)? or is the box i have now good enough for dimensions
trying to get max SQL on kicker compvr 12" fyi^^
i would also like to know whether putting the holes at an angle so the subs face both up and out would have much effect on the sound...i think it looks better that way, but dont want to sacrafice sound doing so--
