ok...

I have a Infiniti i30 with factory BOSE speakers and HU. Impossible to upgrade the system since the made it very hard to work with anything.

For me to change the sound, I have to change everything. Minimum $800

What if I just put a 10" or 12" sub in the trunk and power it up with a MONO amp. Will the sub help my overal sound be louder?

I mean if the sub takes away all BASS on it;'s self from the speakers, I think the speakers will not distort as much as they did and overal sound will be about 20% or 30% better.

Am I correct on this??????

I listen to Dance, techno, Pop, R&B music.

Want to put a RF sub and a RF amp.

What do you think.

Help me please.

yeah--I understand what your trying to do, and it will work to some extent. The problem is the only way to integrate that with the stock stytem is cutting into the outs on the head unit and using a line converter to run the signal back to your amp. Sinces its only one output and 2 sources, whaterver you do to one (raise/low bass/treb ect) the other will have the same result, so yo wouldn't be able to cut all the base out of the speakers and have the sub cranking in the back. It will however be running just a lower level. The way to control this would be with a remote control nob (RF does make this, its like 25 bucks) that way you can regulate the ouput of the sub independant (or almost independant) of the speakers. Thats should work for you.

It looks like you have the wrong connections. The head unit uses one amplifier to amplify 2 to 4 of your speakers. You are using 2 amplifiers...

Yes. I do not fully understand the question, but if the manufacturer suggests such a big port, it is probably because it has a high QTS. If it...
