Confused here

Ok so I have a 93 lincoln town car. It has the factory radio and im about to install a h/u but I was looking at installation stuff on crutchfield and it says something about one of these Factory System Integration Adapter. if your not running speakers off the deck then its only 3 wires.

you only need that if your towncar has the factory jbl system.
