what does it mean when people say you're starving your amp...???

would it still help if I run 0ga from amp to batt.. and batt to ground?? I can't find my alt to ground

wire.. (2010 Camaro)

I have some knukonceptz candy cable 0ga ofc.... so i'm trying to do my own big 3....

is there anyway I can help my amp from going into thermal protect.. ab phantom 4000....

I have it powering 2 12" XFL's.... or would it be better for me to buy another amp and run 1 amp to

each sub.

do you have extra batteries? starving the amp means you are not putting enough wattage to the amp.

do you have a volt meter and what does it read when your bass hits?

i have the one the comes standard with the car.. and it reads a little above 12 when the bass hits really hard.. or on a really heavy bass song.. other than that it looks like somewhere around 13-14..... it's just a needle.. so i'm guessing...

would just doing part of a big 3 help??? or must you do the whole thing to even see a difference..?
