Xmax is usually accepted as the point where the BL is 70% of it's rest position.

Xmax and maximum excursion are two different things. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

dam isnt that alot for a 10??? a 15L7 has like 16mm xmax??? explain???

Not really.

L7's aren't really "high excursion" subwoofers, and hence is a bad point of reference for what is "a lot of Xmax".

To put it in perspective; the old 10" XXX had an Xmax of 32mm. The new Brahma 10" has an Xmax of 28.5mm
