Cone cleaner question?

What would be the best solvent to clean the cone on my DD,standard cone,no extras,i just don't wanna cotjones it up with the wrong cleaner,and possibly the surround also, any ideas?

I used ArmorAll to clean my stuff. Not sure if that's the best, but it worked for me. Brought the surround back to black instead of faded gray.

i used armorall on my treos fuked the surround up cracked and split them from armorall. it deteriorates the foam

I think i tried the damp rag before,just went back to looking dull upon drying.

dont use anything petrol based as armoral it will make the glue disolve cone to surrond and some dust cap to cone...

just some basic household cleaner like Fantastik or whatever should be fine as it won't harm the surround.

I would NOT use armorall...

A damp paper towel? Run it under warm water, throw it in the microwave for like thirty seconds wipe dust or whatever away. Microwave to make the liquid put down evaporate faster.

use a old washcloth because some semipressed cones are alittle rough and will leave papertowel behind after dring.

i spray a rag with eagle1 or simular detailer to make damp and wipe...
