Cone cleaner question?

water. use a damp rag. safe them sorry;)

What would be the best solvent to clean the cone on my DD,standard cone,no extras,i just don't wanna cotjones it up with the wrong cleaner,and possibly the surround also, any ideas?
 
A damp paper towel? Run it under warm water, throw it in the microwave for like thirty seconds wipe dust or whatever away. Microwave to make the liquid put down evaporate faster.

 
use a old washcloth because some semipressed cones are alittle rough and will leave papertowel behind after dring.

i spray a rag with eagle1 or simular detailer to make damp and wipe...

LOL - mine was a higher end model too - iirc deh-9300. Low mileage too, it was sitting around for year collecting dust.
