So from what ive comprehended more cone area = more output. So what im trying to figure out is would i get better overall output with 2 8's or with a 12? How would i even go about calculating that? Either have 600 to throw at even. so 500rms 12 or 2 250-300rms 8's

If i get a 12 im pretty set on the sundown SD12

As for 8's anything i can find a pair for 150 that makes 4ohm load. New or possibly nice used stuff

Well im limited on space 1-1.5 is all i really want to give up, plus ive had port noise so far since im in a single cab. Havnt tryed a aero port yet though

do 2 sa 8s with 6in aero port
A 6" would have to be like 3 feet long to get a decent tune for a pair of 8's.

Although the 12 has a slightly more cone area, the 8's more than make up for it in motor force. With 1-1.5 cubes, it's a no brainer. Do the pair of 8's.
