I'd sell the capacitors and try to get another battery but you should be fine.

With the electrical system you have you should be fine running the herc at .5ohms, just have to becareful and watch the voltage, I ran a xx-herc the first one i owned with 1/0 gauge, and no battery in rear with factory 1991 ***** Am alt around 85amps..lol lasted for almost 1 year then finally smoked, fixed it put 140 amp alt with two yellow tops in rear and never dropped below 13.4volts at 1ohm!! You will be fine!

So I should get rid of caps and my current battery in my trunk would be fine? About what kind of power would I see at .5 ohms? And what size fuse should I use with this amp? Currently have a 150 amp in the sub amp fuse holder, but I know thats too small.

Depends on voltage, box rise, etc. 150 amp fuse will support it just fine.

to OP I am originally from Spartanburg and will be making a trip up there in a couple weeks, I would like to hear your setup. Were you considering the Concept because Unique Audio offers a full line of Concept and you are wanting to match sub and mid/high amps? That is the only reason I could see you considering a Concept with the Herc. The Herc will kill the Concept in output, build quality, and just being better overall. Unless it is going to be a show car I would not worry about matching amps get the Herc because it is better, It is a shame they are not produced anymore.

My current setup is in progress of being sold. I would have been glad to let you hear it, but my box subs and amp will be sold on friday. And I dont have my herc yet it will be here thursday or friday. I wont have my 4 SE's and my new box probably till a couple of weeks. O **** my bad you said you will be here in a couple of weeks. Thats cool I will PM you my phone number if you want. You can call me and we can get together. I was considering the concept 1. cause I can get it cheap 2. cause I have a 1200 on my 4 cvr 12's and its hard to breath in there so I was thinking the amp would be ok because it would double the power I already had 3. cause I could sell my concept and keep the bass knob to use with the new concept. Herc doesnt have a bass knob. 4. Could get a matching 4 channel concept for cheap.

But since the Herc is so much of a better amp it will be here friday. I will PM you my number. Later.
