Buzzing noise from amp

Ok, so I got my AQ2200D all hooked up and running, and I was setting the gains today. I unhooked all of the speakers, played a 50Hz test tone, and slowly raised the gain... and the amp started making a buzzing noise about halfway. It was right below the voltage setting I was trying to achieve (figured into 2200watts) that the buzzing started.

Is this normal? It stops buzzing when the gain is lowered enough. Or is something wrong? Thanks!

its normal, greater gains > chances of feedback. Make it work with the gains you have or check to make sure your RCAs are isolated from everything else. I had that problem for a long time, RCAs too close to a speaker wire, seperated them and put a well protected RCA between the speaker wire and the crappy rca giving me the feedback and it took care of the problem

yea, i had same problem with the 475a, now that i think about it, the idiots that installed it at the time ran the R front speaker wire along with the rcas, and also crossed my ground wire, it was twice as long as it needed to be so rather than cutting it in half they looped it like a "U" against each other.
