Concept 2400a amplifier? What do they do rated power!

I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure they are pretty decent for the rice. I think ran at .5 they can put out 3k

its true..

these amps are beasts.. I run mine at 1 ohm all day no problems getting hot, EASY on electrical, and used to run it at .67 daily and never had any issues either.. I always run Concept after having nothing but great experience with them..

good to hear! we will see what they do? can they run at .5ohms? for daily? if u dont run for long period of time?

I put $20 on they don't do their rated power. I had one a while back and a MTX1501D puts out more than one of those. I was running mtx off 4 15" D2 Comp VRs and bought the concept to see if I could get anymore output and actually lost some.

You must have had a bad amp or something.. The concept amp I have dealt with is a beast, and others on the forums agree.. LoudCartunez has one, im suprised he didnt chime in.

there were 2 differant ones, one sucked and ran very hot. The other was good and ran .5ohm supposedly

the 2400a does app 1800watts , not rated 2400 (unless they have totally changed it since I ran mine). If you can get yours stable at 1/2 ohm yours better than mine. I ran 16 on 4 csp15" and tried 32 on them but they would not hold up strapped at 1 ohm. never really tried a 1/2 ohm on 1 amp.

that amp model number he is talking about is cc-d2400a

the cc-d2400 were horriable about burning up, the cc-d2400a was what I had in mine after toasting 12 of the cc-d2400s

can these run at .5 ohm.. and do u gotta keep them at 14 volts to do it? thanks tim
